The Inferno "Band of Brothers" Pledge
(prayer, friendship, evangelization, asceticism)

On this ____ Day of January, 202_, I, ____________________ , relying entirely on God’s

grace, make a Pledge to God, myself, my family and to my brothers in Christ, to enter

deeper into God’s mission of sharing the gospel by committing to the Mission of Inferno

through the entire 202_ year. I will hold my brothers accountable to their Inferno

Pledge and to be receptive to their challenge of accountability to me (“As Iron Sharpens

Iron”).

From Today through December 31, 202_, I PLEDGE to:

• PRAY ____ minutes every day (10, 20, 30)

• MEET____ every month* 1-on-1 or small group meet ups, for Christ-centered conversation

• INVITE ____ man/men to join me at a Christian event/group each month*

• DISCIPLINE 3+ physical commitment weekly (ie. exercise, early wake up, cold

shower, special diet/fast, etc.)_____________________________________________________________

*can be same man/men each month (1, 2 or 3 is the goal)

I will honor this Pledge as a sacred promise and I will not rescind it except by majority vote from the other men my COR (small group) and even then only due to extreme ircumstances. I will not make this Pledge an idol, a box to check, nor beat myself up with shame/despair if I fall short in any commitment. If I fall, I will be encouraged by the fall of Christ and lean on my brothers (like Christ leaned on Simon of Cyrene) to help me get back up!
